A meeting of the parish Council was held in the vestry room at 7 p.m.
Present. Messrs Lock, Joslin, Winter, J Easterbrook, W.A. Easterbrook, A.
Pidler and W.H.F. Pidler.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved

It was proposed by Mr A. Pidler seconded by Mr. W. A. Easterbrook that the
Clerk write to the Rural District Council and again call their attention to
the nuisance existing at Marsh Cottages and to add that 5 members of the
Council had visited the spot and satisfied themselves of the existence of a
nuisance. The Council do not consider that Mr Anstey is in any way
responsible for the state of things existing. In the event of any person or
committee again visiting Instow on behalf of the Rural District Council it
is desired that members of this council may be informed so as to have an
opportunity of attending.

It was moved by Mr A Pidler seconded by Mr Joslin that Mr Worth take charge
of the flushing tank at Marsh and clean out the same from time to time at
the sum of 5/- per annum.

The Clerk was requested to ask Mr Mills whether this council should put the
ventilating shaft at Lane End in order or whether it must be brought before
the District Council also to ask what powers the Parish Council has.

The Clerk was instructed to write to W.L. Christie Esq. also to E.J. Fisher
Esq. L & SWR to connect their properties with the new sewer.
