MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 17th 1896 MEETING OF INSTOW PARISH COUNCIL


December 17th 1896

A meeting of the Parish Council was held in the vestry room at 7 p.m.
Present. Messrs Lock, Winter, Joslin, Nation, Anstey, W.A. Easterbrook, J
Easterbrook, A. Pidler and W.H.J. Pidler.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved

The list of persons who received the Joan Tucker's Charity last year was
produced and revised. It was moved by Mr Nation seconded by Major Winter
that the list of persons entitled to receive the same this year 33 in number
should be placed at the church and chapel doors and the money distributed by
the clerk at the vestry room in sums of 1s-3d each. Carried unanimously.

The clerk having reported that the Auditor called attention to the fact that
his services from the time of taking office to the date of appointment viz
from March 18 to 31 had not been remunerated it was moved by Mr A. Pidler
seconded by Mr W.A. Easterbrook that he be paid the sum of £1 for such
services. Carried unanimously.
