A Meeting of the Parish Council was held in the Vestry Room at 7 p.m. as the
assessment committee present. Messrs Lock, W.A. Easterbrook, J
Easterbrook, Bellew & Winter and Messrs. John Joslin & Patch Overseers.
The minutes of the previous council meeting were read and approved.
It was suggested by the overseers and approved by the meeting that the Hotel
rating be increased by £8 & the gross £10.
The following reductions were allowed
Mr John Joslin to gross £100 RV £80
Mrs S James to .. £5-15 3-15
Mr T Pedler to .. £4-5 3-5
Mr Toller's bill for election expenses was presented and a cheque was drawn
for the amount 14/-
