Dear Sir

As to making Connections with the Main Sewer

Adverting to previous correspondence herein I am directed to inform you that in the case it becomes necessary for any person to make connections with the Main Sewer at Instow 48 hours notice at least should be given to the Council's Inspector being the proper official to attend to matters of this kind.

With reference to the connection referred to in your letter of the 22nd ult. The council find that there was a little misunderstanding between Mrs Gregory's solicitor and the man who did the work. The work however has been properly carried out under the superintendence of this council's officers.
Yours faithfully
Mr J. P. England W.H. Toller Clerk
